Didn't know too much of Lee Ann Womack, but I knew her one song "I Hope You Dance". I remember my mom would listen to this burned country CD on long road trips and Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance" would be the last song. The Grammy award winner put on an amazing show of pure vocal talent and the fact that she's been doing it for 22 years and still going strong is a testament to that. She was just so gracious and nice to meet and work with. I was honored I got to hear her voice and see her perform. And she ended with "I Hope You Dance"! Thank you for bringing back all road trip memories!
Lauren Alaina
I remember watching the 10th season of American Idol back in the day with Lauren Alaina on it and saying she definitely should have won over Scotty McCreery. Seeing and hearing Lauren perform live just reaffirmed that thought 100 times over. Lauren was just an overall amazing performer and her voice was freaking magical! I caught myself at times not shooting and just watching and listening to the show. She performed different songs from her albums and her latest single that reached #1 "What Ifs" which I was super excited to hear. She sang a medley of songs that influenced her which included both past and current rock, country, and pop hits. She even belted out an acapella Alicia Keys ballad which was gorgeous, the girl got pipes! Congrats to Lauren on her recent engagement and her upcoming tour opening for Cole Swindell on the "Reason to Drink" fall tour. Hope to see you soon!
Sister Hazel
Drew and Ken of Sister Hazel put on an absolutely amazing acoustic performance on a picture perfect summer night. They said they were just a couple of guys who loved to jam together all the way back from their college days. They were soooooo good! They were funny, interactive with the crowd, and great overall entertainers. Hopefully I get to see the full Sister Hazel band sometime in the future!
Diamond Concert Series
I've had the pleasure of working for Diamond Resorts for about three years now capturing their Special Events and more specifically the Diamond Resorts Concert Series for the Hampton Roads area. The Diamond Resorts Concert Series are intimate invite only concerts headlined by several different National Country acts such as Jana Kramer, Colt Ford, LeeAnn Womack, Lee Brice, and Cole Swindell. Over the past three years I've got to meet and work with a lot of amazing and talented people. I always have such an awesome time listening to and discovering new music all while getting amazing images of all the different artists. I'm looking forward to another awesome summer season with Diamond Resorts!
Pusha T - Drug Dealers Anonymous ft. Jay-Z
2 features from Hov in a week!! Pusha comes hard with a release from his long awaited "King Push" album. Straight up fire! Not gonna say too much about this, but just listen and enjoy! Stream it before TIDAL takes it down!
Fat Joe - All the Way Up (Remix) ft. Jay-Z, Remy Martin, and French Montana
"All the Way Up" was a banger when I first heard it just never got around to posting it. When Jay-Z came out of his "Lemonade" coma to jump on the hottest track out, the internet went into a frenzy. I know I'm a week late to actually posting the remix, but if you know me I'm the biggest Jay-Z fan, I had to share this even though it's already old news. Remix for the city!
Video: Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE - Need You
This song is fire! Dillon and NGHTMRE have been teasing it at their latest set and finally we have the full version and a hilarious video to go along with it. The pairing of Francis and NGHTMRE are absolutely perfect, moombah and grime and trap with a filthy drop. The video is kinda long and it takes about 2 minutes till the actual music starts but it's a hilarious story of Dillon DJ's a suburban backyard party for a bunch of middle aged adults. So good all around.

Alicia Keys - In Common
New Alicia!!! It was 2012 since Mrs. Swizz Beats last released her own album, she's had a couple features here and there but she's been relatively quiet for awhile. Alicia debuted "In Common" on last weekend's SNL. More and more we hear more of the Dancehall infusion in to pop and mainstream, "In Common" follows that tropical vibe. A little different from what we are used to hearing, doesn't showcase her voice too much, she's in a falsetto for most of the song, and not much piano, but the song is fire! New song and a new album has been confirmed for later this year. What do you think?
