Monster collab with Mr. $ign, Charli XCX, and Tinashe with production by Stargate and Cashmere Cat. The all-star collaboration brings just a decent radio single, maybe I need another listen, but I think it's just okay. Stargate sounds likes a fake DJ Mustard beat, and there are really no elements of Cashmere Cat's production, the split hook from XCX and Tinashe doesn't really give them time to shine either, maybe I had too high of expectations. What do you guys think?
I didn't see this one coming at all. Cashmere Cat and DJ Mustard on the beat! This unexpected track named "Ice Rink" has a soulful vibe from Cashmere Cat and has that party vibe from Mustard, the blend of both styles just work like the DJ Snake collab before. The different worlds colliding is great for music and according to CC's soundcloud there's more between the 2 on the way. Free download!
