This is nuts, for Big Baby D.R.A.M. to jump on an official remix for the most streamed group in the world blows my mind. Big ups to the hometown homie! Major Lazer does it again with a remix to their hit "Powerful". D.R.A.M. opens up on a reworked more electro version of the slow banger, kinda dubsteppy, if that's a word, lol. Ellie and Tarrus' verses kinda sit behind the beat now and gives it a whole new feel. Free download too!

The hometown boys are at it again! Off of DP's latest mixtape "Designer Casket" that dropped today, DP goes off on a slow, grimey, and dark trap track called "For the Love Of". D.R.A.M. balances out the haunting track with his signature singing. My only complaint that the track is too short clocking in at right over 2 minutes; the song is so good that I have to keep it on repeat to hear more, which isn't a bad thing. Dope video too!

The homie D.R.A.M. blesses us with "Gahdamn!", a fresh 9 track EP with production from Donnie Trumpet, Nate Fox, The Social Experiment, and of course the RBLE fam Gabe Niles. Drake was busy this weekend, the 6 God released 3 new tracks on the Beats 1 OVO Radio Show. The most notable was "Charged Up", his sorta acknowledgment/subtle diss to Meek Mill, but the other of note is "Hotline Bling", basically Drake's reinvision of the homie D.R.A.M.'s monster hit "I Like to Cha Cha", whaaaaaaatttt! The "Cha Cha" is taking over!!! Not much of a remix like the cover art suggests but a fresh new song with the usual Drake rap/sing combo. What do you think?

This shit is so dope! The track is absolutely bananas; the video is so fun, vivid and colorful to match the spirited vibe. The Norfolk duo just keeps on killing it, dropping a perfect anthem for the summer. I thought the first part of the song was nuts, then the breakdown where the beat switches just takes this song to a-whole-nother level. Samples, soul, hand claps, screams, tempo changes, air horns; this track has everything you ever wanted, all the feels!
757 stand up! D.R.A.M.'s viral hit "Cha Cha" gets some 8-bit inspired visuals that would make Mario and Luigi proud. The 7 cities are well represented in the video with appearances from Sunny & Gabe, RBLE E Crew, Charlie and Careyann from Alchemy, and a bunch of other friends and family. The video perfectly captures the playful and soulful vibe of both the song and Hampton's very own. Rick Rubin approved!

VA all day today. First post comes from Norfolk's resident soulful/funk/eclectic/R&B/new age/jazzy duo, Sunny & Gabe, I really don't know how to describe their music other than just dope. "Luv It" features the homie D.R.A.M. with a laid back rap sing verse which he is so good at; Sunny kills the rest as usual over production from Gabe, Bub Ruth, and Guitar by Brandon Jarod.
