It's been since 2010 since we heard any N.E.R.D; way too long from the 757 homies! Off The Spongebob Movie Soundtrack, "Squeeze Me" is an upbeat and uptempo harmonic track that is just a feel good track from the trio. Not quite "Happy" but along the same lines, perfect for a Nickelodeon flick. Not what I was hoping for but I'll take any new music from Pharrell, Chad, and Shay.

We'll see how long this one stays up. Bey's camp usually doesn't let too many unauthorized remixes stay out too long; they should definitely keep this one from Jack U though because it's an absolute banger. You can hear both of Diplo's and Skrillex's signature sounds in the remix of Mrs. Carter's "7/11" filled with twerk, bass, and electro. So dope!

A nice Christmas present from Wale and A-Trak blessing us with a full stream of their collaborative mixtape "Festivus". The 11 track stream features a bunch of special appearances from A$AP Ferg to Pusha and a bunch more. Wale is so underrated I just don't know why!? Wale gives us a free mixtape that is better than some other artist's albums, all the production from A-Trak doesn't hurt either. Free download!

Whaaaaat!? A joint album from VA's own Skillz and Bink! is dropping on New Year's!! Whaaaat!? Legends right here! All from the home state! Skillz drops a timely song entitled "All My Favorite Rappers are Dead" that kind of addresses the state of hip hop right now. Feels like the hip hop golden age might have passed and died with the greats. Definitely take a listen if you're a true hip hop head.

Late but definitely had to post this! Hennessey and Noisey some how got 35+ of today's hottest rappers on one cypher track produced by G.O.O.D. Music's Hudson Mohawke with additional production from S-Type and Nick Hook. If you have 42 minutes to kill, an array of up and comers and mainstays kill a seamless freestyle track that bangs; Pusha T, Prodigy, Action Bronson, Raekwon, YG, Young Thug, Danny Brown, and the list just goes on.
